Maya Angelou once said, "Surviving is important. Thriving is elegant." It was in that spirit that the Noble Roses Foundation was created. This nonprofit organization strives to assist cystic fibrosis patients in living to their fullest potential by providing emotional support to patients and families, educational resources, financial assistance for medical and therapeutic expenses, and college scholarships. In addition, the Noble Roses Foundation will continue the long standing tradition of its founders in supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their efforts to control and cure this disease.

Our participation with Rock Hill's annual Come See Me Festival in 2009 and 2010 during the Frog Float, an activity coordinated by the Rock Hill Galleria and the Rock Hill Parks Foundation, has helped to raise nearly $4,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Plans are in the works for the 2011 Frog Float which will be held April 2011, at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill. We are looking forward to another fun-filled, successful day raising awareness and funds in our community to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis. Details will be posted as they are made available as to where you can "adopt" your frog for a $5 donation, and what this year's prizes are. The Grand Prize is a $1,000 Shopping Spree with Personal Shopper courtesy of the Rock Hill Galleria Mall. Hope to see you at the Float!
Tales from the Rose Garden: A Look at Life with Cystic Fibrosis, is a book that was self-published by Noble Roses Foundation President, Kerri Marks. Cystic Fibrosis--known to children as "65 roses"--is a devastating genetic disease affecting the lungs and pancreas. In this work, patients and their families share their stories of triumph and grief, incomparable strength, and unwavering hope. Proceeds from this book benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Help us find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis and order your copy today.
GREAT STRIDES is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national fundraising effort. Walks are held all annually in cities across the US. Starting the Rock Hill walk in 2006 was the first step towards creating the Noble Roses Foundation. We will continue to participate in GREAT STRIDES and encourage everyone to be a part in whatever way they can--by raising money, donating goods and services, or coming out to walk. It is an amazing and rewarding experience for all involved. To learn more about walks in your area and how your family, business, church, or school can participate, please visit www.cff.org/great_strides
This site is currently under construction and will be updated regularly throughout the creation and establishment of this nonprofit organization.
